Why is it important to spread the news of the Micah Challenge?
Spreading the news is an important action you can take right now that will help the world’s poor. As more people gather within this movement to strengthen public opinion and raise issues of the injustice of poverty to our political leaders, the more we are able to affect change.
Spreading the news enables more people to become engaged at an intellectual and practical level as well as make it more exciting to be a part of.
Our vision is to ignite and fuel a passion in Christians to bring about the alleviation of poverty and to speak out, with a common voice, against the injustice of poverty. Spreading the news helps achieve this.
We need Christians in the UK to share the vision with their friends, their families and their churches. Through gathering together as God’s people united in wanting to see justice done for the poor, then we will begin to see lasting, impacting change.
