To explore how you and your church can engage with the Micah Challenge, we have produced a range of resources that you can download below. This is the Micah Challenge Toolkit, which is a worship and study resource for Christians who want to embrace the Micah Challenge in the lives of their church and community.

The goal of the Micah Challenge is ‘to mobilise Christians against poverty.’ To get there we take a journey through Scripture and through life experiences – our own as well as those of our sisters and brothers around the world. In this Micah Challenge Tool Kit we have gathered some tools and ideas to help you make the journey a rich, rewarding one for everyone. So come on, let’s get started!

  1. The Three Strands
    The core thread of the Micah Challenge is taken from Micah 6:8, which is a fantastic summary of what God wants His people to do. Micah says plainly ‘He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.’
  2. What can one church do?
    How do you even begin to think about global poverty? The problem is so big! What can your church community do? The truth is that you’re probably already doing many things that show you are living out the Micah Call.
