Martin Smith sings ‘You Have Shown Us’
In a call to encourage Christians everywhere to get behind Micah’s 2010 Campaign, the Delirious? frontman Martin Smith performs an exclusive acoustic version of the song "You Have Shown Us".
Martin Smith, the Delirious? frontman behind the CompassionArt concept, knows that worship is more than music and lyrics. He kindly agreed to be filmed recording a beautiful acoustic version of 'You Have Shown Us', from the album CompassionArt. Endorsing the worldwide Micah 2010 campaign, Martin says, "Let's get behind Micah Challenge. It's a way of empowering the church to speak out for what is on God's heart, as Micah 6:8 says, to love mercy, to do justly and to walk humbly before our God. And I think that's true worship."
We're championing the song as the 'theme song' of our 2010 campaign around the world, and you can share this video with others and with your church by streaming from the Micah Challenge youtube channel at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCOnsLdRoaE
The song also features on the ‘You Have Shown Us’ Micah Challenge justice album along with songs from other leading artists such as Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, and Stuart Townend. As a soundtrack to the 2010 campaign, this album has been released by Kingsway Music in support of Micah Challenge around the world. It is available now and can be ordered from Kingsway at www.kingsway.co.uk.
