Micah Sunday
What is Micah Sunday?
Micah Sunday is an occasion for the church in the UK to come together to consider its role in alleviating poverty worldwide.
It gives your church to connect-in to the work being done to alleviate poverty by people just like you around the world. And the chance to reflect on the part you are playing and can play in this great project.
Micah Challenge uses Micah Sunday as a chance to feature the work of its partners. And Micah Sunday is a global event so in marking it you'll be standing together with local churches right around the world.
Micah Challenge will provide simple instructions and creative ideas that make it easy for you and your church to get involved.
When will Micah Sunday be & how can we get involved?
Micah Sunday is always in October. It is always on the nearest Sunday to October 17th, the international day for the alleviation of poverty.
Please note that Micah Sunday will not be marked in 2010 but instead, on 10.10.10, Micah Challenge will celebrate the culmination of its Micah 2010 campaign.
To get involved in Micah Sunday put the date of the next one in your diary and use the form below to receive updates nearer the time.
