Shining a light on corruption in extractive industries.

The EU is currently considering a new law that will make it compulsory for all companies to publish all payments they make to governments and others in the countries where they operate. This law would mean that citizens can know how much revenue from mining is actually due to be paid to their government - money that could be used to meet MDG targets.
