Bible & Poverty
The Bible has much to say about poverty and justice; if you removed all the pages which mention justice it wouldn't stand up!
Jesus also had a lot to say about the poor. As ‘the Church’ how should we respond?
How do we reconcile evangelism with how the Bible approaches advocacy?
How should we prioritise poverty on our doorstep against global poverty?
Can we really make a difference?
We believe that being advocates for the poor is central to our core mission as Christians.
This section aims to provide articles, links and resources that help answer these questions and deepen our understanding of advocacy, as well as provoke and challenge us.
